Murcia
The coastal area of the Mar Menor has a different character. The sea is calmer and warmer throughout the year. These areas include attractive tourist complexes such as Los Alcazares and La Manga del Mar Menor.
Los Alcazares is a popular area. Costa Cálida means the hot climate coast. More than 3,000 hours of sunshine and a microclimate attract tourists here throughout the year. The Mar Menor has a coastline of just over 70 kilometers and warmer waters than other beaches on the southern coast of Spain. The area invites to swimming and water activities.

Many people come here for the mineral-rich, healing water with a pleasant bath temperature and an average air temperature of 22 degrees. Nearby is San Pedro del Pinatar with its salty lakes with healthy swimming for those with osteoarthritis or rheumatism. The Mar Menor also offers a wide range of leisure activities and every imaginable service along the promenade with outdoor cafes, restaurants, bars, music, dance, markets and shops.
La Manga del Mar Menor is a peninsula of a few kilometers that extends over the sea, covering on one part the coast of the Mar Menor, with beautiful shallow beaches, attractive for families with infants. A landscape that is very attractive when you have the sea on both sides of the city and with a wide range of gastronomic services.
